Add Signal911Live to Your Phone

ONE TAP BACK TO YOUR LOCAL REPORTS

Keep Signal911Live on your phone’s Home Screen for quick access to incident reports, connected feeds and your saved My Feed. This adds a shortcut to the website. A separate App Store or Google Play app is planned for later.

Start with the page you want to reopen

Open My Feed and save your connected agency feed, or open the Signal911Live homepage. Add that page to your Home Screen using the steps below. Saving My Feed is free and does not require an email or account.

iPhone or iPad · Safari

1. Open your chosen Signal911Live page in Safari.
2. Open the Share menu. If needed, open the browser’s More menu to find Share.
3. Choose Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll the actions list.
4. Name it Signal911Live and tap Add. If your version offers “Open as Web App,” you may use that option.

If you do not see Add to Home Screen, open the page directly in Safari instead of an email or social-media browser. Apple’s current instructions.

Android · Chrome

1. Open your chosen Signal911Live page in Chrome.
2. Tap the three-dot More menu.
3. Choose Install and create shortcut → Create shortcut, or Add to Home screen on versions using that label.
4. Name it Signal911Live and tap Add, then confirm any Home Screen prompt.

Menu names vary by phone and browser version. A shortcut may open in Chrome. Google’s current instructions.

Keep your saved feed on the same device

Your saved My Feed is stored in this browser on this device. Clearing website data, switching browsers or using a private-browsing session can remove or separate that saved choice. If the shortcut opens without your saved feed, choose your agency again in My Feed.

Want a free Monday email too?

Choose up to 10 locations for free weekly location reports. Confirm your email to finish signup; unsubscribe anytime. Email reports are separate from your phone shortcut and browser save.

Internet access is required. This shortcut does not enable offline incident reports or push alerts. Reports may be delayed or incomplete. Signal911Live is not an emergency alert service. For emergencies, call 911.

What is happening near you?

Remember an area in My Feed to comment, reply and vote on its incidents during the five-hour discussion window. No email is required for browser-based participation.
