Power Outages & Water Alerts

Explore reported power outages on Signal911Live’s integrated map, plus official water service interruptions and boil-water advisory sources for Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania.
Coverage: Our power layer displays county summaries from participating utilities through ORNL / DOE ODIN. It refreshes every five minutes, shows source update times and excludes stale or unavailable utility reports. Coverage is partial; county shading is not an outage boundary. Water notices currently remain official source links. Check your provider for affected addresses and restoration estimates.

Data source: Oak Ridge National Laboratory / U.S. Department of Energy ODIN and participating utilities. The layer uses outage data rendered on our own map. It does not embed another provider’s outage map. Only reports matched to a utility update received within the last 30 minutes are displayed; missing areas are not an all-clear.

Pittsburgh-area water outages and boil-water advisories
Check the water supplier listed on your bill. A notice for one water system may not apply to nearby homes served by another.
- Pittsburgh Water service outages — service interruption information for Pittsburgh Water customers.
- Pennsylvania American Water customer advisory map — open the Customer Advisory Map and search your service address for outages and alerts.
- Aqua service alerts — service disruptions and advisory notices in the states Aqua serves.
Check the notice, then check for updates
Read the issuing utility’s exact affected area, issue time and instructions. Boil-water, do-not-drink and do-not-use notices are different: follow the instructions in the official notice. Water service returning does not by itself mean an advisory has been lifted. Look for an explicit update from the issuing authority.
A missing notice here is not confirmation that your water is safe or your service is operating normally. If your supplier is not listed, contact it directly. Restoration estimates can change; use the latest provider update.
