Check the route, direction and update time

Confirm the road name, direction of travel, affected segment, restriction and latest update. A planned work zone, a weather restriction and an unexpected crash can have different timeframes. A reopening estimate may change. Follow posted signs and official directions.

Local streets and utility work

For neighborhood streets, check your city or county transportation department and the utility doing the work. State systems may omit municipal closures, private roads and short-lived restrictions. Missing information is not confirmation that a route is open.
